Clips headlining, replacing

This method applies to vehicles without a sun roof.

Clips on vehicles without mass movement sensor (MMS), replacing

Preparatory work
Disconnect and fold down the headlining on the passenger side to access the central clip. See: Headlining, replacing Headlining, Replacing.

Removing clips




Remove the 1 clip (1) from the retainer.

Installing the clips

Install:
- the 1 clip
- 2 pieces of plastic foam (2) on either side of the clip mounting.
Press up the headlining so that the clip engages.
Install the headlining. See: Headlining, replacing Headlining, Replacing.

Clips on vehicles with a mass movement sensor (MMS), replacing

Preparatory work




Remove the cover for the mass movement sensor (MMS) by pressing the cover to the right and bending the left edge downwards.

Removing clips




Remove the 1 clip (1) from the retainer.

Installing the clips

Install:
- the 1 clip
- 2 pieces of plastic foam (2) on either side of the clip mounting.
Press up the headlining so that the clip engages.
Install the cover on the right-hand side so that the retainer secures in the headlining.
Press the cover to the right and then up so that the retainers on the left-hand side secure in the headlining.
