Note! Steps 1 - 5 do not apply with a completely new installation of the navigation system.
- Turn the ignition switch to position 0.
- Disconnect the battery negative lead.
Note! Wait at least five minutes before disassembling the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.
- Fold the left-hand rear seat cushion forward (1).
- Fold the left-hand rear backrest (2) forward.
- Remove the two floor hatches in the cargo compartment.
- Remove the left-hand folding side panel in the cargo compartment.
- Remove the left side panel. Remove the cover and the screw from the front edge.
- Pull the top of the panel inwards until the clips release.
- Fold the panel inwards. Lift the panel out.
- Remove the clip (1).
- Remove the insulation panel.
- Remove the screws (1).
- Lift out the unit and turn it so that the connections on the back are accessible.
- Remove the tape (1) on the CD drive wiring and detach the connectors.
- Take a ferrite from the kit.
- Open it by carefully prizing out the catch with a screwdriver.
- Take the top wiring (yellow and green connector) and also take brown, white and lilac cables from the lower wiring.
- Make a loop with the wiring as illustrated.
- Fit the ferrite to the loop where the wiring is doubled.
- Clamp the ferrite together so that a click is heard from the catch.
- Take the other ferrite from the kit and fit it on the remaining wiring.
- Adjust the wiring so that the loop is as small as possible and so that the ferrites come close to the connectors.
- Plug in the connectors.

- Take the cover from the kit.
- Press the cover in over the CD player's front panel.
Note! All 6 tabs must make contact with the CD player's chassis.

Reinstall:
- the unit with 3 screws (1) and tighten the screws to 10 Nm (7 lbf ft).
- the insulation panel.
- the side panels.
- the floor hatches.
- Fold up the back and seat cushion.
- Turn the ignition key to position II.
- Reconnect the battery negative lead.
- Check the function.
Note! When changing a disc the cover must be removed and then refitted.
