Condition




If the steering wheel angle sensor (SAS) control unit registers that the steering speed (the speed at which the steering wheel is turned) from the SAS element exceeds 2000°/s, diagnostic trouble code SAS-0042 is set.

Substitute value
- Stabilising function disconnected.
- Anti-spin function blocked.

Possible source
- The front wheels hit a curb or stone.
