Signal too high. Intermittent fault

Checking the cables

Hint: The phone module is connected to the GPS antenna via a connector on the right A-pillar.




- Ignition off.
Check the antenna cable between the phone module (PHM) connector G (grey) and connector E (connector 1) on the right A-pillar for a short circuit to voltage supply as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
If no fault is found on the antenna cable, test again after replacing antenna.
Do the necessary corrective action.
