Checking the wiring and component
- Ignition off.
Check the cable between carphone handset D3 (terminal #34) and carphone control module A3 (terminal #3) for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Try replacing the carphone handset if no fault is found in the wiring.
Remedy as necessary.
