Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-000B is stored if the carphone module registers that there is a short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal to the handset (cradle switch).

- Only hands-free operates.

- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the wiring (cradle signal) between the handset and the control module.

Fault symptom[s]
- The handset does not function
- Message in the text display (for carphones with Volvo On Call).
