Signal too high. Intermittent fault

Checking the wiring and component

Hint: The hands-free loudspeaker is connected to the carphone module via a connector under the driver's seat.




- Ignition off.
Check the cable between the carphone module connector A4 (terminal #4) and hands-free loudspeaker connector B10. Check the cable between carphone module connector A5 (terminal #5) and hands-free loudspeaker connector B9. Check these cables for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Try replacing the hands-free loudspeaker if no fault is found in the wiring.
Remedy as necessary.
