Signal Too Low. Permanent Fault
Signal too low. Permanent fault
Checking the ignition lock wire
- Ignition off.
Apply the brake then release the brake to check whether the brake light works correctly. If the high level brake light is not working, the fault may be caused by overheating. Wait about 10 minutes and check whether the fault was caused by overheating.
If the brake light works, the diagnostic trouble code may also be caused by a fault in the lighting circuit to the ignition lock. If the ignition lock light does not work correctly, check the wire between central electronic module (CEM) 19D and ignition lock light (16/65) 5 for a short circuit to ground as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Do the necessary corrective action.
