Checking and replacing the component
Remove the relay 2/120 and check the relay socket's contacts for contact resistance and oxidation. Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault
Install the relay.
Activate the relay with the switch child safety lock, for windows rear doors, on the driver's control panel (activated relay LED on).
If the function is now OK the fault was caused by a contact fault in the relay base.

Replace relay, 2/120.
Activate the relay with the switch child safety lock, for windows rear doors, on the driver's control panel (activated relay LED on).
If the function is OK the cause of the fault was a damaged relay (open circuit/short-circuiting in the relay coil).

- Ignition off.
- Connect connectors, install components etc.
- Ignition on.
Activate relay for child safety blocking on window of rear door up/down, using control panel on driver door (activated relay diode illuminates). Activate window of rear door up/down using control panel in rear door.
