Checking the signal cable
- Ignition off.
- Disconnect the connector from the central electronic module (CEM).
Hint: The signal line goes from the Central electronic module (CEM) to ground via glass breakage circuit left, glass breakage circuit right and glass breakage circuit tailgate.
Check the signal cable. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Begin by measuring at the grounding point and then go backward along the circuit to find the defect.
Remedy as necessary.

- Shut all the doors. Activate the alarm.
