If the overheat thermostat trips, the control unit will interpret this as a fault and will store diagnostic trouble code CEM-5F50.

- None.

- Air in the cooling system.
- Cooling system blocked.
- Damaged water pump.
- Damaged overheat protection thermostat.
- Damaged engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.
