- Ignition off.
Check the signal cable between central electronic module (CEM) terminal #3A and starter motor relay terminal #1 for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Remedy as necessary.
