- Ignition on
- Check that the value from the air quality sensor is within the permitted range.

Note! The blower fan must be running.

Expose the fresh air intake to windshield washer fluid, gasoline vapor or similar.
The value should be between 4% and 96%.

No - Checking components and wiring

Checking the connectors and cables
Check connector B on the climate control module (CCM) and the air quality sensor connector. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. Check for loose connections.
Check the cable between climate control module (CCM) terminal #B3 (#3) and air quality sensor terminal #3. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground.
Check the cable between climate control module (CCM) terminal #B16 (#16) and air quality sensor terminal #1. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground.
Check the cable between climate control module (CCM) terminal #B5 (#5) and air quality sensor terminal #5. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground.

Check the cable between climate control module (CCM) terminal #B3 (#3) and air quality sensor terminal #3. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Check the cable between climate control module (CCM) terminal #B16 (#16) and air quality sensor terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Remedy as necessary.
