Faulty Signal. Intermittent Fault

Faulty signal. Intermittent fault

Checking wiring and sensors
Check the cables between the sensors and the ABS control module:

For yaw rate sensor 1:
- terminal #1 and control module terminal #42 (terminal #A42)
- terminal #2 and control module terminal #11 (terminal #A11)
- terminal #3 and control module terminal #27 (#A27).

For yaw rate sensor 2:
- terminal #1 and control module terminal #14 (terminal #A14)
- terminal #2 and control module terminal #30 (#A30)
- terminal #3 and control module terminal #45 (terminal #A45).

For the lateral acceleration sensor:
- terminal #1 and control module terminal #40 (terminal #A40)
- terminal #2 and control module terminal #9 (terminal #A9)
- terminal #3 and control module terminal #25 (terminal #A25).

For brake pressure sensor 1:
- terminal #1 and control module terminal #28 (terminal #A28)
- terminal #2 and control module terminal #12 (terminal #A12)
- terminal #3 and control module terminal #43 (terminal #A43).

For brake pressure sensor 2:
- terminal #1 and control module terminal #26 (terminal #A26)
- terminal #2 and control module terminal #10 (terminal #A10)
- terminal #3 and control module terminal #41 (terminal #A41).
Check for contact resistance and oxidation. Check for an intermittent open-circuit. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
Remedy as necessary.

Fault-tracing information
If the fault is intermittent, do not verify fault-tracing if the fault does not recur.
It is possible to view the information again, or leave fault-tracing for this diagnostic trouble code (DTC).

Do you want to view the information again?
