Checking the central electronic module (CEM)

Note! An improperly configured central electronic module (CEM) can affect the configuration of the DSTC control module. If diagnostic trouble codes have been stored for CEM, this system is to be fault traced first.

Were there any diagnostic trouble codes stored in CEM?

Yes - DONE

No - Erasing diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)

- Ignition on
- Erase diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).





Continue - Resetting and configuring the control module

Resetting and configuring the control module




- Ignition on
- Restore DSTC configuration.
- Wait 1 minute.
- Select a model from the list and configure the DSTC control module.





Continue - Verification

- Ignition on
- Read out the configuration for DSTC.
The correct model should now be configured.





Is the correct model configured?

Yes - Fault Found

No - Fault-tracing information

The fault should be diagnosed and remedied. Since this is not the case the fault-tracing process has failed.
Complete the fault-tracing for those fault or try again.

No - Attempt New Test
