Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition
The dynamic stability and traction control (DSTC) control module is programmed at the factory with software for several car models. During the first ignition cycle, the DSTC control module reads off the configuration of the data in the car from the central electronic module. The DSTC control module then configures itself according to the car model and equipment. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-0076 will be stored if, during a repair for example, a DSTC control module is installed that was previously in another car.

Possible source
- A DSTC control module from another model has been installed.
- A central electronic module (CEM) from another model has been installed.

Fault symptom[s]
- Anti-spin does not function.
- The stability control is not function.
- The ABS warning lamp flashes.
- The warning lamp for the anti-spin system lights.
