Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-0032 or ABS-0042 (depending on the wheel sensor affected) is stored if the ABS control module registers that the signal from the wheel sensor is interrupted too many times during a 7 ms period,.

Possible source
- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Loose connections in wiring/connections.
- The cables are too close to a source of interference.
- Cable insulation damaged.

Fault symptom[s]
- ABS warning lamp lit.
- Anti-wheelspin warning lamp does not function.
- Brake circuit not functioning, warning lamp lit.
- No ABS function.
- Anti-spin does not function.
