Checking interference on the AM waveband

- Ignition on
Try to generate interference by switching on the road traffic information (RTI). Listen to the AM radio at the same time.
When interference has been generated place a screen sleeve (P/N 8666532) over the connector for the signal cable.

Hint: 900kHz to 1600kHz is a good frequency range to listen to. Ensure that the screen sleeve is as close to the control module holder as possible.

Check if the interference remains on the AM waveband.
