Lumbar Support Backrest Cushion, Replacing

NOTE: The information below applies to cars manufactured up to week 8 2002 inclusive. Information for cars manufactured from week 9 2002 inclusive.

Preparation
- Carry out operation Lumbar support adjustment knob and Lumbar support strap.

Replacing the lumbar support assembly







- Remove seat upholstery as far as the first lateral channel:
- Two half moon clips from each front-rear channel.
- Release the two elastic attachments in the inside/rear side of the backrest.
- Remove two screws from the mechanism







- Press the mechanism inwards.
- Unhook the spring from the backrest frame.
- Replace damaged components.

Install:
In reverse order.
