SWM-E001

Condition
Control units communicate with each other over a network via a standardized serial method of communication - CAN (Controller Area Network) - and exchange information. Control units send and receive information. If control unit registers that communication is interrupted or defaults, diagnostic trouble code SWM-E001 is displayed

NOTE: During a communication fault the control unit cannot communicate. The diagnostic trouble code is only there to detect an intermittent fault.

- CAN communication blocked.

- Defective control unit.

- Wiper only works on lowest speed
- Front windscreen washer does not work
- Rear window washer does not work
- RTI buttons on steering wheel do not work
- Telephone buttons on steering wheel do not work
- Audio buttons on steering wheel do not work
- Indicator switch does not work.
