If the central electronic module (CEM) registers that communication with the anti-lock brake system (ABS) control unit does not work, diagnostic trouble code CEM-1A5F is displayed.

Condition
ABS does not work.

Possible source
- No power supply to ABS control unit
- Contact resistance in the connectors
- Open circuit on the CAN bus
- Defective ABS control unit.

Condition
- ABS warning lamp on
- ABS does not work.
