DTC ABS-00B3 Communication Control Unit

Condition

Note: This diagnostic trouble code applies only to ABS systems equipped with DSTC.





The steering wheel angle sensor (SAS) control unit transmits a signal on the CAN network. The ABS control unit receives the signal and compares it with the signal of the yaw-velocity sensor. If the ABS control unit registers that the signal from the steering wheel angle sensor is unreasonable, diagnostic trouble code ABS-OOB3 is set.

Substitute value
- Anti-spin function blocked.
- Stabilizing function blocked.

Possible source
- Incorrect fore carriage adjustment.
- Incorrectly fitted steering wheel angle sensor.

Fault symptom[s]
- Anti-spin does not work.
- Stabilizing function not working.
- Anti-spin warning lamp is on.
