DTC ABS-00A4 Brake Pressure Sensor 1

Condition

Note: This diagnostic trouble code applies only to ABS systems equipped with DSTC.





Brake pressure sensors 1 and 2 send a signal to the ABS control unit regarding the pressure in the braking system. If the control unit registers a faulty signal from a pressure sensor, diagnostic trouble code ABS-OOA4 or ABS-OOA5 is set, depending on the sensor.

Substitute value
- Anti-spin function blocked.
- Stabilizing function blocked.

Possible source
- Open circuit in wiring.
- The wiring is short-circuited to ground or voltage supply.
- Sensor incorrectly fitted.
- Defective pressure sensor.
- Defective control unit.

Fault symptom[s]
- Anti-spin does not work.
- Stabilizing function not working.
- Anti-spin warning lamp is on.
