DTC ABS-00A1 Yaw Rate Sensor 1 & 2

Condition

Note: The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) applies only to ABS systems equipped with dynamic stability and traction control (DSTC).





The yaw rate sensor transmits a signal to the ABS control module. This signal indicates the extent and direction of yaw. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-OOA1 is stored if the control module registers that the signal from the yaw rate sensor is outside its permitted range.

Substitute value
- The anti-spin function is blocked.
- The stability function is blocked.

Possible source
- Open-circuit in the wiring.
- The wiring is short-circuited to ground or supply voltage.
- Loose yaw rate sensor.
- Defective yaw rate sensor.
- Defective control module.

Fault symptom[s]
- Anti-spin does not function.
- No stability function.
- Anti-spin warning lamp lit.
