ABS-0095


DTC ABS-0095 Control Module Communication

Condition





The control modules exchange information over a network via a standardized serial communication interface. Control modules transmit and receive information. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS0095 is stored if the ABS control module registers that communication is missing or subject to interference.

Substitute value
- Anti-spin function disengaged.

Possible source
- Defective ABS control module.
- Defective central electronic module (CEM).
- Another control module is interfering with network communication.
- Fault in communications cables.

Fault symptom[s]
- ABS warning lamp lit.
- Anti-spin warning lamp lit.
- Anti-spin does not function.

Condition

Note: This diagnostic trouble code applies only to ABS systems equipped with DSTC.





The yaw-velocity sensor signals to the ABS control unit the extent to which and the direction in which the car is yawing. If the control unit registers a faulty signal from the yaw-velocity sensor, diagnostic trouble code ABS-00A0 or ABS-OOB2 is set, depending on the sensor.

Substitute value
- Anti-spin function blocked.
- Stabilizing function blocked.

Possible source
- Open circuit in wiring.
- The wiring is short-circuited to ground or voltage supply.
- Loose yaw-velocity sensor.
- Defective yaw-velocity sensor.
- Defective control unit.

Fault symptom[s]
- Anti-spin does not work.
- Stabilizing function not working.
- Anti-spin warning lamp is on.
