Checking bulb holder








- Ignition off.
- Disconnect the control module.
- Ignition on.
Short-circuit control module connector #25 to ground. The lamp will go out if the combined instrument panel is functioning correctly.





Does the lamp go out?

Yes - No Fault Found

No - Checking the combined instrument panel

Fault-tracing indicates that there is a short-circuit to ground in the combined instrument panel. Check the combined instrument panel.
