Cables For Folding Down the Seat and Moving It Forward

The cable for the fold-down mechanism













Remove:
- the seat from the car.
- Slacken off the tensioner on the cable.
- Pull the cable back.
- Pull out the cable.
- Replace the cable.

Install:
- In reverse order.

The cable for moving the seat forward













Remove:
- the seat from the car.
- Slacken off the tensioner on the cable.
- Twist and pull the cable from its mounting.
- Replace the cable.

Install:
- In reverse order.

Removing spring tensioner













Remove:
- the seat from the car.
- Slacken off the tensioner on the cable.
- Twist and pull the cable back.
- Detach the cable from the mountings.
- Twist the cable against the spring.
- Replace the cable.

Install:
- In reverse order.
