Noise from glove compartment lid due to excessive play at lock







- Cut 2 pieces of tape (10x10 mm), P/N 6812838-8.
- Install pieces of tape on the cover facing the rubber stops

HINT: The rubber stops indicate the markings in the cover which can be used as markings for locating the pieces of tape.

Noise from glove compartment lid stop arm







- Install a piece of tape (A), P/N 679904-3 on the stop arm nearest the center console.
- The tape should also cover the sides of the stop.

Squeaking from glove compartment lighting







- Remove the glove compartment lamp cover.
- Apply grease, P/N. 1161417-9 on the return spring for the glove compartment lamp switch.
