Replacing The EVAP Canister Shut-off Valve

Removing the EVAP canister shut-off valve
- Disconnect the connector
- Remove the clamps (2) at the EVAP canister and rear axle joint, and one tie strap.

Removing the clamp:










- squeeze the clamp with a pipe wrench. Hold in place
- pry apart with a small screwdriver.

NOTE: These are reusable.

- Disconnect hoses.
- Remove the rubber mounting from the bracket.

Installing the EVAP canister shut-off valve
In reverse order.

Installing the clamp:
squeeze the clamp with a pipe wrench until it locks.

NOTE:
Use a new screw clip at the EVAP canister.
Use a new tie strap.
Reuse the clamp at the rear axle joint.
