The potentiometer and shaft for the front-rear adjustment motor

Removing the potentiometer

Remove:










- Set the seat height adjustment to its uppermost position.
- Remove the seat from the car.
- Disconnect the connectors and wiring.
- Remove the two screws.

Install:
- In reverse order.

Disconnecting the shaft







- remove the potentiometer
- Pull out the shaft.

Install:
- In reverse order.

Potentiometer for the front height adjustment motor

Remove:







- Set the seat height adjustment to its uppermost position.
- Remove the seat from the car.
- Unclip the cover.
- Pull out the potentiometer.
- Disconnect the connectors and wiring.

Install:







- In reverse order.

NOTE: If the potentiometer gas a fixed gear either reuse the gear or order a new on separately.

- Remove the snap ring from the gear on the potentiometer.

Potentiometer for the rear height adjustment motor

Remove:







- Set the seat height adjustment to its uppermost position.
- Remove the seat from the car.
- Unclip the cover.
- Pull out the potentiometer.
- Disconnect the connectors and wiring.

Install:
- In reverse order.
