Convertible System Signal Specification






Convertible system signal specification

General
The convertible system only functions when the ignition is on.
Control module terminals A1- A30 and C1- C16 are positioned on adapter 981 3194 Replaced by 9511495 981 3194 Replaced by 951 1495.
Control module terminals B1- B8 and D1- D14 are positioned on adapter 951 1496 Adapter 8-14-pin 951 1496 Adapter 8-14-Pin.

Note! It is important that the breakout box is connected and that the ground terminals have been checked before readings are taken. See Checking the ground terminals Connecting the Breakout Box.

Connector A; A1- A30




All values specified below are between the terminals in column 1 and a ground point in the car or in adapter wiring 951 1496 Adapter 8-14-pin 951 1496 Adapter 8-14-Pin terminal #5 (connection of an additional breakout box is required in the latter case).
Control module terminals A1- A30 correspond to terminals #1- #30 on the breakout box.






Connector B; B1-B8




All the values given below are between the terminals stated in column 1 and terminal B5 (ground, 31/48).
Control module terminals B1- B8 correspond to terminal 1- 8 on the breakout box.






Connector C; C1- C16




All values specified below are between the terminals in column 1 and a ground point in the car or in adapter wiring 951 1496 Adapter 8-14-pin 951 1496 Adapter 8-14-Pin terminal #5 (connection of an additional breakout box is required in the latter case).
Control module terminals C1- C16 correspond to terminals #31- #46 on the breakout box.






Connector D; D1- D14




All the values given below are between the terminals stated in column 1 and terminal B5 (ground, 31/48).
Control module terminals D1- D14 correspond to 11- 24 on the breakout box.
