Replacing antenna ring

Preparations
- Make a note of the anti-theft radio code.
- Disconnect battery negative lead.

Removal






- lower steering wheel cover.
- Carefully pry out the antenna ring catch with a screwdriver and pull out the antenna ring.
- antenna ring connector.

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the cable to the airbag module when releasing the antenna ring catch.

Installation
- Connect the connector to the antenna ring.
- Thread on the new antenna ring over the ignition switch and press in until the catch grips.

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the airbag module cable in the steering wheel when the antenna ring is installed.

- lower steering wheel cover.
- battery negative lead.
- Enter the anti-theft radio code.
