Replacing the lock and alarm control module (VGLA)

Preparations

CAUTION: Before replacing a control module, the data programmed into the old module must be read off.

This is carried out in VADIS car communication under the title Reading off Programmed Values.

Read off and make a note of the programmed values

After replacement, the current data must be programmed into the new control module.

If the values cannot be read off, consult your supervisor or sales company or check with the customer to ensure that the new control module is configured in the same way as the old one.

Removing the control module







- the soundproofing panel on the driver's side.
- the control module by pressing to the left.

- Disconnect the connectors.

Installing a new control module
- In reverse order.

Ordering software

CAUTION: Software must be ordered to be able to program the new control module.

Programming a new control module

CAUTION: The new control module can be programmed when the software is available.
