Handling faults

Erase diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
The control module is extremely sensitive to mishandling. The connector must be disconnected from the control module before the control module is removed from the bracket.
When the control module is disconnected it must not be powered. If the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored any fault causes must be investigated and avoided in the future.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be erased the first time that it is stored.

Note! All other diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) must be intermittent before they can be erased.

No - Replacing component

Try replacing control module according to Replacing the Roll-over Protection System (ROPS) module Service and Repair.





Select Continue when the fault has been remedied.

Hint: After repairs have been completed the fault must be checked as follows to ensure that it has been remedied:








- Ignition off.
- Reinstall components, reconnect connectors etc.
- Ignition on.
- Wait at least 10 seconds to allow the control module time to carry out its diagnostic.
Read off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
