Condition




The control modules communicate with each other in a network via a standardized serial communication procedure - CAN (Controller Area Network) - for exchange of information. Control modules transmit and receive information. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-0092 is stored if the ABS control module registers that communication is missing or subject to interference.

Hint: In the event of a fault in the communication cables the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is probably stored in the central electronic module (CEM).

- TRACS system is disengaged (cars equipped with TRACS only).
- Anti-spin function disengaged.

Possible source
- Interference or fault in communication cables.
- Another control module is interfering with communication.
- Incorrect control module connected.
- No contact with other control modules.
- CAN-low is disconnected.
- Defective control module.

Fault symptom[s]
- Anti-spin warning lamp lit.
- Anti-spin does not function.
