Check the gear selector lever ball joints as follows.
- Remove the components surrounding the gear selector lever so that the ball joints can be checked
- Check for grease in the gear selector lever ball joints.
Lubricate the gear selector lever ball joints if necessary. Use Volvo wheel bearing grease P/N 116 12 41 (80 gramme tube).
