Installing the Tracing Agent Injector

NOTE: On newer filling/draining/vacuum pumping stations there is a reservoir for injecting oil. It can be used for filling with fluorescent tracing agent before filling with refrigerant and after vacuum pumping.

Installation







- Check that there is no pressure in the hoses for the draining/recycling station. Evacuate the hoses if necessary.
- Disconnect the low and high pressure hoses if necessary.
- Connect the hose supplied with the injector kit to the station.
- Connect the injector to the hose.
- Connect the drainage and filling valve to the injector using the hose.

- The tracing agent injector is manufactured for use with the draining/recycling station.
- The tracing agent injector has two threaded mounting holes to secure it to the draining/recycling station. Once connected, the injector is permanently attached.
