Checking signal cable to loudspeaker

Check, connectors and cables

Hint: A fault in the signal cables from the RTI control module to the driver's door loudspeaker also prevents the music system signal from reaching that loudspeaker.

Check the control module connector A and the terminals on the driver's door driver's door for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Check cable between the control module #A10 and terminal 1 on the driver's door loudspeaker for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault , a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Check cable between the control module #A26 and the driver's door loudspeaker combined instrument panel terminal 2 for an open-circuit in accordance with Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Remedy as necessary.
