Tailgate Washer Pump

FD1 Removing:

Removal:

NOTE: Reinstall the special suppression kit if installed.

- Ignition off.
- Remove washer reservoir filler pipe.
- Place a container under the car to collect windshield washer fluid.
- Pull up washer motor, use round-nosed pliers.
- Disconnect washer motor connector and hose.

FD2 Installing:




- Connect washer motor connector and hose.
- Install washer motor, press carefully into place.

NOTE: Before installing pump, immerse inlet pipe in water or a soap solution to avoid compressing the rubber seal.

- Reinstall washer reservoir filler pipe.
- Fill washer bottle with water and check that the pump and filler pipe are correctly connected to the washer bottle.

Test washer motor function and check for leaks.
