License Plate Lamp: Service and Repair

Replacing Bulb and Lens:






Turn ignition off and remove two lens retaining screws (TORX 10 or cross- head screws).

CAUTION: Do not tighten screws too hard when reassembling as the lenses are made of plastic and may crack.

- Carefully remove the lens with a flat screwdriver.
- Pull the defective bulb straight out.
- Replace bulb. For type of bulb, Specifications

Test for proper operation.

NOTE: Lenses for 5-door cars have different P/Ns for the left and right-hand sides.

Caution: Do not tighten screws too hard as the lenses are made of plastic.
