Condition
- No Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) stored in the climate control system or in the engine management system.
- The fault is permanent.

Hint: Certain electrical fault in Air Conditioning (A/C) system are diagnosed by the engine control module (ECM) and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be stored there.

Possible source
- Defective drive belt.
- Pipes and components not secured.
- Incorrect oil level.
- Refrigerant leakage.
- Defective compressor/magnetic clutch.
- Defective pressure switch (Pressostat).

Hint: The Air Conditioning (A/C) relay, Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor, Air Conditioning (A/C) pressure switch and pressostat (low pressure sensor) are regulated by or electrically connected to the engine control module (ECM). This means that fault-tracing these electrical circuits is not carried out in this test.

Condition
- No cooling from Air Conditioning (A/C) system.
- Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor does not start, or runs sporadically
