Checking The Wiring And Component
- Ignition off.
- Open the transmission control system.
Check the wiring between transmission connector terminal #D3 and solenoid SLT terminal #1.
Check the wiring between transmission connector terminal #D4 and solenoid SLT terminal #2.
Check for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.
Also check against the other cables in the circuit. Use the relevant wiring diagram.
Check solenoid SLT by measuring the resistance between terminals #1 and #2 on the connector. The resistance should be 5 - 5.6 Ohms at 20 degree C.
Replace the control system if the resistance is incorrect.
