Checking The Wiring



Checking The Wiring







- Ignition off.
- The breakout box connected.
- Disconnect gearbox connector D.

Check the cable between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #A52 (#A52) and transmission connector terminal #D3 (control module side). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage. Check the cable for short-circuits to other cables in the circuit.

Check the cable between control module terminal #B1O (#A70) and transmission connector terminal #D4 (control module side). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Check the cable for short-circuits to other cables in the circuit. Check the cables between connector terminals #D3 and #D4 on the transmission side. Check for damage. Check for short-circuits to other cables in the circuit.

Check the connector. Check for damage and pressed in pins.

Remedy as necessary.

Other information:
- Connecting the breakout box.
- Signal description. Transmission control module (TCM).
- Connectors, transmission, disconnecting/connecting.
- Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.
