Checking Wiring And Sensors







- Ignition off.

Check the power supply cable between transmission control module (TCM) terminal 57A and vehicle speed sensor (VSS) connector terminal 1 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.

Check the signal cable between transmission control module (TCM) terminal 39A and vehicle speed sensor (VSS) connector terminal 2 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults.

HINT: With the control module connected, the ignition on and a voltmeter connected between vehicle speed sensor (VSS) connector terminals 1 and 2 (control module side), the voltage should be approximately 1 V under Ubat.

Remedy as necessary.
