4. Verification

Verification







HINT: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified.

- Ignition off.
- Connect the connectors, install the components etc.
- Jack up the car so that the drive wheels are free.
- Start the vehicle.
- Read off the current through the solenoid circuit.
- Apply the brake to the wheel and put the gear selector into position D.
- Slowly press down the accelerator pedal.

The current should decrease as the accelerator pedal is pressed down.

Does the current decrease as the accelerator pedal is pressed down?
