Checking Shift Solenoids S1 And S2







NOTE: The transmission should not be colder than room temperature when activated.

- Ignition on.
- Activate shift solenoid S1 and S2 individually.

A "clicking" sound should be heard when the solenoids are activated. Use a stethoscope to hear the "click" more clearly. If the solenoids do not click this indicates that there is a mechanical fault.

Do both solenoids click?
