Check cable between control module #A68 (#B8) and solenoid S2 for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults and contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults.

HINT: Voltage should be approximately 12 V with the ignition on and voltmeter connected to control module #A68 (#B8) and ground.

Remedy as necessary.
