Checking The Wiring







- Ignition off.
- Disconnect the special tool 919 4732.
- Disconnect the battery negative lead.
- Disconnect the control unit.

Connect an ohmmeter between passenger airbag #1 and ground and check for a short circuit to ground, as described in Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults.

If there is a short circuit to ground in the wire, replace the cable harness.

Do the necessary corrective action.
