Condition
If the resistance in the circuit is too low for more than 3 seconds diagnostic trouble code SRS-221 will be set.

Possible source
- Short circuit in the connectors or in the signal lead between passenger airbag and control unit.
- Short circuit in passenger airbag (resistance too low in ignition device).

Condition
- The SRS warning lamp is lit


WARNING
There is a risk that the SRS passenger airbag module will not function if this diagnostic trouble code is set.
