Checking Connector And Wire







- Ignition off
- Disconnect B connector from combined instrument.
- Disconnect the control unit.

Check contact pin on control unit for contact resistance and oxidation as described in Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults.

Check the wire between combined instrument #B3 and control unit #25; test for an intermittent open circuit as described in Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults and for an intermittent short circuit to ground as described in Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults.
